50th Festival of Brass

50th-Festival-of-Brass-poster-2.3

Sunshine Brass are getting their year started and are hoping that yours has started well. Please find attached the flyer for this year's Festival of Brass on the 21st and 22nd of July! It is the 50th Anniversary of this great regional event and they are keen to make it bigger and better to celebrate!

At this stage the solos will be on the Saturday (non QBA event) and the band competition on Sunday although this may change depending on the number of entries.

All the details are on the flyer - we would also like you to know that this year, while they are keeping the same venue, they are going to get the stage extended which should give you an extra 2 metres to work with. Hopefully this will make everyone's experience on stage more comfortable!

They would also like to ask for an expression of interest in small group events. If you are interested in entering a duet, trio, quartet, quintet or any other small group, please let them know and (depending on interest) they will look at creating events for these to make the Saturday even bigger and better.

We have taken on board feedback from last year, but if you have any questions or more feedback for things you would like to see in this year's Festival of Brass, please don't hesitate to get in touch with them at Sunshine Brass sunshinebrassband@gmail.com
